The Health HR Navigator (NS)
March 2010 – March 2011
The objective of this project was to develop the Health HR Navigator structure to support human resource planning, labour market integration and workforce development in the Nova Scotia Health sector to attract potential employees to this path of employment and serve as a HR resource to employers. In this role, the Health HR Navigator will serve as an advocate for health careers, a resource, a facilitator, a problem solver, a systems change agent and a relationship builder. The Navigator will have the big picture view of the health care workforce, opportunities, emerging trends, and the needs of the sector employers that will impact the industry. This project was funded by the NS Department of Health and Wellness Human Resource Branch.
