Registered Social Workers (RSW) in Nova Scotia Supply and Demand Study
Project Scope: The purpose of this project was to build on existing research in order to develop a current profile of Registered Social Workers (RSW's) in Nova Scotia, which will help regulatory bodies, provincial decision-makers and stakeholders to better understand the nature and magnitude of trends within the sector that impact the available supply of RSW's to meet current and future demands. This information will be used to contribute to a supply and demand forecast for RSW's in Nova Scotia that can be integrated into a broad health human resource strategy for the Nova Scotia health sector. This project is funded by Service Canada Local Labour Market Partnerships, Nova Scotia Department of Health and the Nova Scotia Department of Labour and Workforce Development.
