Newcomer Retention Toolkit (IEHP Internationally Educated Health Professions initiative
February 2010 – March 2011
The objective of this project was to work in collaboration with a Project Advisory Committee and IEHP Atlantic Connection Representatives to develop a Community Retention Toolkit for IEHP’s in Atlantic Canada based on an environmental scan of existing toolkit models and to distribute the toolkit across Atlantic Canada. The HCHRSC will establish and provide support to the Project Advisory Committee and the 3 project sites (Summerside PEI, Halifax and Truro) where the toolkit will be used as a framework to build on Retention Resources. This project was funded by The Atlantic Council of Premiers; Atlantic Population Table.
